RCC Kids is offered during the 9:30am and 11:00am services. We meet kids right where they are and challenge them to form a personal relationship with Christ through prayer, worship and praise. We encourage the kids to have fun while learning about God. Each week, we strive to present Biblical truths in creative ways to help kids grow in their faith and relationships while understanding and accepting God's love for us.
RISE Youth gather on Sunday evenings from 4:00-5:30pm. Our hope and vision is that the joy of Jesus would flow out of our youth and into our community, and that they would experience God first-hand and live changed lives because of Him. We believe the students of RISE Youth are called to more and that more is found in Jesus. We frequently plans fun events for the young adults to get out into the community. RISE Youth is for students in grades 6-12.
The music ministry strives to serve God with excellence in song and with instruments, and to elevate the worship to a higher level so that the presence of God resonates throughout the sanctuary along with the music.

We are very fortunate at Riverside to have some passionate prayer warriors. We have many prayer requests that are submitted each week. These requests are prayed for by the staff and congregation, but the prayer ministry continually helps one another by talking with God and praying for His love and understanding. We have many people involved in phone and email prayer chains. The purpose is to give each member of our congregation immediate access to the prayers and support needed by those who have asked.
Missions is one of the most important ministries at Riverside, and we strive to do as much as God allows us to. We have many partnerships established in the community with goals focused on helping those who are in need. If you are willing to reach out into our community to do God's work, please inquire.
The women's ministry offers opportunities for women to grow spiritually, serve faithfully and strengthen their love for Christ, for the church and one another. They meet on the 2ND MONDAY NIGHT of each month from September through May. They perform service projects and host interesting guest speakers. They also provide luncheons for funerals, prepare and serve Lenten Lunches during Lent, provide food for congregational events and oversee the kitchen and fellowship hall. All women of the church are welcome!
The men's ministry holds a men's breakfast that meets on the 3RD TUESDAY of every month at 7:00am. They meet at the Spring Garden Restaurant in Loves Park. The address is 4820 N. 2nd St., Loves Park, IL 61111
The welcome ministry is composed of friendly, welcoming individuals who enjoy meeting new people and welcoming members and guests in through our doors every Sunday morning. They assist with any directions or assistance needed and also distribute the order of service bulletins.
The Super Solos group was formed for those who attend church by themselves. We offer friendship and companionship for those who are independently seeking a relationship with God. They attend plays, concerts, events and dine out often as well as facilitate a network of friends. They also participate in service projects for local organizations.
